Y'know, in this 3rd season they really went hard with that switching fate thing between Vax and Percy

from vaxleth and perc'ahlia switching from happy to sad exactly when the other couple switches from sad to happy, from Vax giving his blessing with Vex only for Percy to encourage Vax himself to look for happiness - heck, Vax dooming himself to undoom Percy is a switch from (all the way back from arguably s2ep1 when Percy took acid rain damage for him, but most likely from-) the start of the season, when Percy's role in the first assault was basically recover Vax. In episode 2, Percy takes the blame himself to save the team from J'mon. In episode 12 Vax takes the burden for Percy and Vex, but arguably for his team's happiness, fractured since glintshore.

I do think sometimes of how Percy was the first at the tomb to check the armour, and had a whole raven motif before Vex' natural 1
